  • What makes this boutique different?
    We're a small business with a big heart, offering a truly unique literary experience. We give pre-loved books a second chance, resuing them from the landfill and curating a special collection of used books, upcycled book art, and blind date with a books. This commitment to sustainability means you'll find treasures here that you won't see in any chain store. We're passionate about books, art, and community, and we believe in giving stories and creativity a new life. Shopping with Summer Skyy Boutique isn’t just a purchase, it’s a new experience with each and every book.
  • Does Summer Skyy Boutique have a physical location?
    Our boutique offers a variety of unique shopping experiences. Visit our charming booth located inside the Owls Nest (2901 SE Adams St, Topeka, KS 66605) on "Canary Court" for a personal touch, shop online anytime on our website for convenience, or connect with us at local community events! We blend the charm of in-person browsing with the ease of online shopping and a strong community presence.
  • Am I able to cancel my order?
    Please e-mail summerskyyboutique@gmail.com if you’d like to cancel your order. We are only able to cancel orders if the order has not already shipped. Please keep in mind that we try to ship out packages as quickly as possible so requests for cancellations should be sent as soon as possible.
  • Can I edit my order after placing it?
    We are currently not able to revise any orders once placed. If you made an error on your order it is best to email us to have the order cancelled, and then place a new order with the correct items. If you would like to make a change to your shipping address or contact information, please e-mail us at summerskyyboutique@gmail.com!
  • Will you combine multiple orders?
    Orders can be combined ONLY if the orders in question have not yet been fulfilled and shipped. To check the status of your order and inquire about combining orders, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • What about shipping?
    Summer Skyy Boutique orders are shipped from North-East Kansas. For pre-orders, we work to ship out orders within the same week. For in-stock orders, we work to ship out orders the same business day or the next business day after the order has been placed. For holidays, Friday afternoons and weekends, we may take up to 3 business days to ship orders. Local delivery and pickup are also available and save on shipping. Orders are shipped via USPS Media Mail and any orders over $50 have free shipping!
  • What if a product I like is out of stock?
    Don't worry! At Summer Skyy Boutique, we offer pre-orders. If something catches your eye but isn't currently available, simply let us know, and we'll be happy to place a pre-order for you. We typically have items ready for shipment or pickup within a week. This way, you never have to miss out on the books or book art you love.
  • Do you accept donations?
    Yes, we do! We're always happy to receive donations of gently used books and book-related art. As a Kansas-based business, we welcome local donations. If you're outside of the area and would like to donate, we appreciate your generosity! At this time, we ask that you cover the cost of shipping. Please contact us at summerskyyboutique@gmail.com to coordinate your donation and discuss shipping options. We're grateful for your support in keeping books alive!
  • What will my Blind Date with a Book look like?
    Each Blind Date with a Book is unique, making each "date" a delightful surprise. The wrapping will never receive the same book or wrapping twice! If you are wanting a custom theme please message before ordering to see if we can accommodate your request.
